Experience Endless Summer at Pacific Terrace
Have you heard? San Diego is known for our endless summers, making fall a perfect time to visit Pacific Terrace Hotel. Our summers don’t end in August, they carry on through September making it an ideal time to visit us! We have amazing weather, less crowded beaches, whale watching opportunities, and plenty of exciting activities and festivals to enjoy.
Less Crowded Beaches
As August ends and kids go back to school, our beloved beaches become serenely quiet. Instead of having to fight for a spot, you can choose from anywhere on the sand. Visiting in September means you’ll enjoy the warmest ocean temperatures, making your beach day even better. Take advantage of the endless summer days while having less of a crowd to share them with. Situated on the beach, Pacific Terrace Hotel lets you enjoy Pacific Beach whenever you please!

You can’t miss an opportunity to go whale watching, especially when you’re all but guaranteed to see these magnificent creatures year-round. Different seasons bring about different whales and late summer early fall is a great time to catch a glimpse of the elusive Blue Whale. These whales are the largest animals on earth and are a rare sight to be seen. Up your chances of viewing them by embarking on a whale watching tour with San Diego Whale Watch, located just about 10 minutes away from Pacific Terrace Hotel. The company’s “whale guarantee” promises you’ll see whales or dolphins on your excursion or your next tour is free!
